When YEIDA acquires or buys farmland, the farmer is entitled to a developed abadi plot equal to 7% of the land, in addition to compensation. In August 2026 YEIDA's board set ₹4,037 per sq m plus the 7% plot, or ₹4,558 per sq m without it, for land bought by consent in Phase 1. Before buying a 7% plot from a farmer, check the allotment letter and YEIDA's current transfer rules.

Not automatically. A plot is a YEIDA allotment only if YEIDA's own papers for it say so: the allotment letter, the lease deed and, for a resale, YEIDA's written transfer permission. We tell you which papers to see for a plot and help you check them before you commit.
