Sector 28: Data Centre & Medical Device Park
YEIDA’s Sector 28 holds the Data Centre Park and the Medical Device Park. This page separates what YEIDA and dated reports document from what is only proposed.
Sector 28: what is documented
Sector 28 is an industrial sector, not a residential one. YEIDA’s industrial page lists a Data Centre Park of 100 acres in its land bank table. YEIDA’s Medical Device Park project page gives that park as 350 acres, with 195 acres (55%) for allotment and 225 planned plots in four size bands (80 under 2,000 sq m, 107 of 2,000 to 4,000 sq m, 16 of 4,000 to 6,000 sq m and 22 of 6,000 to 14,000 sq m).
- 24 September 2021: the Government of India gave in-principle approval for the Medical Device Park under its Promotion of Medical Device Parks scheme, with YEIDA as the state implementing agency. The project report was approved on 4 January 2022 and a central grant of ₹30 crore was received (YEIDA project page).
- November 2023: YEIDA allotted two data centre plots of 20,000 sq m each, D-9 to Jackson Limited and D-10 to Sify Infinit Spaces. Five plots were offered, three applications were received and two plots were allotted (PTI, 7 November 2023).
- 12 January 2026: a new scheme opened for 22 more Medical Device Park plots, with a deadline of 11 February 2026 (Free Press Journal, 4 February 2026).
- 4 February 2026: 101 of 203 developed Medical Device Park plots were reported allotted, 49 units had taken possession, 23 had building plans approved, 12 had started construction and 62 leases had been executed (Free Press Journal).
- 25 September 2026: YEIDA opened a hotel plot scheme (CHP-08/2026) covering plots in Sectors 28 and 29, with an e-auction on 4 November 2026. See our YEIDA plot schemes guide.
Figures differ between sources. The data centre park is 100 acres in YEIDA’s land bank table, but a 2021 report of the state’s proposal said 200 acres. YEIDA’s project page says 124 Medical Device Park units are allotted (undated), while the 4 February 2026 report says 101 of 203. We could not tell which is later or how each is counted, so both are shown.
Reported, but not confirmed by us
- Adani Group: two parcels in Sector 28, with an investment of over ₹7,400 crore reported by trade outlet tele.net.in on 14 November 2023. We did not find YEIDA’s allotment notice.
- AM Group: a proposed 384 MW first phase on about 114 acres at ₹26,910 crore, reported by Square Yards on 1 September 2026 with no YEIDA notice cited. Treat it as a proposal.
If you are looking at land near Sector 28
- You cannot buy a plot here as a household. Industrial plots go to businesses through YEIDA schemes; see how industrial allotment works.
- We found no official figure linking Sector 28 to prices or housing demand elsewhere, so this page makes no such claim. Check the sector or village of any land you are offered against the notified village list and the master plan.
- A plan is not a project. Treat “next to the data centre park” in a sales pitch as marketing until the specific land is confirmed. Full detail is in our guides to the Film City, Toy Park and Medical Device Park and the Sector 28 data centre park.

YEIDA’s Data Centre Park (100 acres in its land bank table) and the 350-acre Medical Device Park. Hotel plots in Sectors 28 and 29 were also offered in September 2026.
No. It is an industrial sector, and plots are allotted to businesses through YEIDA schemes.
In November 2023, YEIDA allotted two plots of 20,000 sq m each: D-9 to Jackson Limited and D-10 to Sify Infinit Spaces. Other projects have been reported, but we did not find YEIDA notices for them.
We found no official figure that says so, and we do not make that claim. Check the circle rate and the notified status of the specific land.
