YEIDA plot schemes are the only way to get a new plot directly from the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, and demand far outstrips supply. This guide sets out what happened in 2026 so far, what is open now, and how the process works, using YEIDA’s own notices wherever they exist.

Written on 30 September 2026. Scheme dates move and new schemes are launched at short notice. YEIDA’s scheme page is the only authoritative list.

Key facts at a glance

  • RPS10/2026: 973 residential plots; 1,10,034 applicants at the draw on 18 June 2026
  • Open now (non-residential): hotel plots, group-housing plots, corporate-office plots and school plots, all by e-auction, closing between 16 and 26 October 2026
  • No residential plot scheme was listed as open on YEIDA’s scheme page on 30 September 2026
  • Sector 5A: a large residential scheme has been reported as approved, but no official notification had been issued at the time of writing
  • Only official website: yamunaexpresswayauthority.com

RPS10/2026: how the last residential scheme ran

The Residential Plot Scheme RPS10/2026 offered 973 plots of 162 to 290 sq m in Sectors 15C, 18 and 24A. The numbers show the scale of demand:

StageWhat happened
Applications closed (6 May 2026)1,05,842 applications with about ₹6,856 crore deposited as registration money, as reported at closing
Draw (18 June 2026)1,10,034 applicants for 973 plots; held at the Expo Centre, Greater Noida, under the supervision of a retired High Court judge, streamed live
Results“RPS10/2026 Draw Result” and the final applicant list published on YEIDA’s allotment-check page
PaymentA YEIDA public notice gave allottees until 29 September 2026 to pay allotment money, with interest, before cancellation

Put simply: roughly one applicant in 113 received a plot. The previous scheme, RPS-09/2025, drew 54,289 applications (54,223 found valid) for 276 plots in Sector 18, according to a report on draw day.

If you were not successful

Under the RPS10/2026 brochure, registration money is refunded to unsuccessful applicants without interest, to the account it came from or the bank details given in the application; where a bank financed the deposit, the refund goes to that bank. If the money was held for more than a year, savings-bank interest applies on the excess period. The brochure does not provide for a waiting list.

What is open now (autumn 2026)

These schemes were published on YEIDA’s website in September 2026. None is a residential plot scheme for individuals. They are allotted by e-auction to businesses and institutions:

SchemeWhat is offeredKey dates

Senior secondary school plots, YEA/INST 2026-2027/02Institutional plots for schoolsOpened 16 Sep; closes 16 Oct; e-auction 20 Nov 2026

If you are a home buyer, the group-housing scheme matters indirectly: the developers who win those plots build the apartment projects that will be sold later. Any such project must be registered with UP RERA before it is marketed.

Sector 5A: reported, not yet notified

In August 2026 it was reported that YEIDA’s board had approved around 4,000 residential plots in Sector 5A, split between small 40 sq m plots for workers and economically weaker sections and 162–300 sq m plots for general applicants, with a launch targeted for the festive season and RERA registration to follow. Previous allottees of residential plots from Noida, Greater Noida or YEIDA were reported to be ineligible.

At the time of writing, no official notification, brochure or dates had been published, and the board meeting of 28 September 2026 (which approved a logistics park at Tappal-Bajna), was not reported to have launched a residential scheme. Treat any “Sector 5A registration” offered before YEIDA publishes the brochure as a red flag.

How to apply for a YEIDA residential scheme

  1. Wait for the official brochure on yamunaexpresswayauthority.com and read it in full: eligibility, reservations, rate and payment plan differ between schemes.
  2. Check eligibility. Under the RPS10/2026 terms: individuals aged 18 or over, no HUFs, one plot per family, and no existing YEIDA residential plot or flat in the family. Co-applicants must be immediate family.
  3. Apply online only. Applications and payments are made on YEIDA’s website through the payment gateway or net banking; the RPS10/2026 application fee was ₹600 and offline payment was not accepted. Some banks listed in the brochure offered to finance most of the registration money.
  4. Keep your documents ready: PAN, Aadhaar and the bank details you want any refund paid to.
  5. Follow the draw. Draws are held category by category; results are published on the allotment-check page.
  6. If allotted, pay on time. The full premium is due within 60 days of the allotment letter. What follows (lease deed, possession and building-plan approval) is covered in after a YEIDA allotment.

Beware of fake scheme sites. In 2022 YEIDA warned the public about a fake website selling plots under a made-up scheme name, and confirmed that its only official website is www.yamunaexpresswayauthority.com. Never pay registration money through a link sent by an agent.
